Difficult Lighting Conditions - Chennai Temple..

Posted by
Sunder (Chennai, India) on 22 July 2010 in Architecture and Portfolio.

A shot from inside Kabalishwarar temple to display the massive entrance into the temple.
I found it difficult to get the right exposure.
I wanted to get details of the stone structure out in the brightly sunlit area, while maintaining proper lighting inside the temple.
but have only barely managed to do so....
I strongly suspect the picture could have been better...

i saw what you wrote to Karine...your shot is too over exposed outside. if it's a raw shot you can underexposed to have average between outside and inside, if it's not a raw i'm afraid there is nothing to do!
next time, try bracketing on exposure...

or take mesurement on outside and underexpose manually of 1 or 1,5 diaphram...
