Take my picture ...!!!

Posted by
Sunder (Chennai, India) on 13 August 2010 in People & Portrait and Portfolio.

I was aiming for the stone sculpture (seen in the background) in Mylapore temple , Chennai and planning for my shot...

These two lads who were playing in the temple yard suddenly planted themselves in front of my camera and would NOT budge until I took their picture !!!

They had no inhitbitions whatsoever... allowing / demanding to be photographed by a stranger....
utterly carefree not having a worry in the world....

Childhood can be fun...

As long as they didn't demand money from you, Sunder, I guess there's no harm, right?! Partners in crime. :)

don from spokane, United States

A fine, informal street shot of these two persistent youngsters. I'm surprised at how serious they look.

13 Aug 2010 2:24pm

@don: Thanks , Don..
To be quite honest, they were playfully obstinate ..
Maybe it was my tardy fingers, that by the time I was ready..they became self concious - lost the spontaineity and voila...the serious look.
