"Control "Keys...

Posted by
Sunder (Chennai, India) on 2 September 2010 in Abstract & Conceptual and Portfolio.

With Computers and information technology taking over the global village, it is only fair to concede that they exercise a significant "control" on our lives....

Imagine, now , a world with no computers....

Why ...aminus3 would not be possible...
Two decades ago, who would have believed ...that the pictures taken could be seen and shared by people all over the world and interacted upon instantaneously....

We are "controlled" by these Keys, indeed....

Luke Wiley from Spokane Washington, United States

An original look at an ordinary object!

2 Sep 2010 5:12am

@Luke Wiley: Thanks,Luke..

Cruz from exurbia, United States we allow ourselves to be controlled by the keys? Interesting photo...and a commentary on how times have changed in a relatively short amount of time!

2 Sep 2010 5:21am

@Cruz: Well, Quite have a point we allow ourselves? Thanks for the comment.

CElliottUK from Reading, United Kingdom

A very clean keyboard, you should see mine!-Urghhh! On a daily basis I work with American, Indian, German clients...all via the keyboard (and Skype). My job could not exist without the internet, PC's, etc. Lovely reminder of daily "Necessities"

2 Sep 2010 5:55am

@CElliottUK: Actually Chris, It took me more than 30 minutes to get my keyboard cleant up..I had to turn it upside down first to get the small bits of biscuit pieces and toast out...blow compressed air.... clean with a moist soapy wipe..the most difficlut bit was the dust on the sides of the individual keys--which needed individual attention... And voila ..a clean keyboard... But much similar to your experience with your windows, my wife wondered if I could clean other stuff in the house...Are they the same across national borders, cultures &race...LOL Thanks for your comments

Michael from Chester, United Kingdom

New... or exceptionally clean keyboard, it makes a good shot.

Not only pictures sunder, but banking, paying bills, letter writing.... and businesses would stop with computers.

2 Sep 2010 12:48pm

@Michael: Thanks for the comment,Mike... It is only a clean keyboard ..not new!! And yes, I agree ..our entire lives will freeze up without computers.... Do you remember the days leading up to 1 Jan 2000....the scare about 2K incompatibility... So much so there were characters who built themselves a shed and stocked food in freezers for years believing that the world would come to a grinding halt with 2000... This just goes to show, like you said, how we now cant live without computers....

My friend, Beau, said that there had been a war between cars and people, and that the cars had won and had enslaved the human race. I guess the same could be said of computers. But I disagree, reallly. I think they are an enormous gift.
